Welcome to Hollywood

This really does suck.

Still processing the awesome time I had in Austin. More on that when I’m no longer doped up on cold meds…

My heart sank reading the news, Julie.

I really sincerely hope you receive what you are due.

All the best,

Dave Olden

Yes, it does suck. BUT, you are standing up for yourself and ultimately, that will be a good thing. The WGA should learn from you. Good on ya!

Best of luck, Jules. And sorry I missed AFF this year. Hope to meet you some time in the not-too distant future.

Didn't know all this was going on. It's shame, to see your posts about the coolness of the set, the trailer, etc, and now this BS.

Was this your only option?

Thanks, guys. No sinking hearts, though, please. I'm not losing any sleep over this stuff.

Pat-- yeah. I'm the least litigious person ever (all those years as a defense paralegal, most likely). We tried since April to resolve all this without litigation, but no dice. Finally, I had to do what was necessary to enforce my copyrights.

So sorry to hear about this Julie. Hope it all works out really soon.

I know a few of the actors had issues getting paid as well. SAG sent interesting letters to their billing actors

Sorry, haven't stopped by in a while and am now just getting caught up on your blog.

But bravo to you for sticking up for yourself. It's important.

Kick ass,
David
